Culled from the BDR 78rpm archives comes "Tanjore Beauty: Carnatic Instrumentals from 78s" featuring strings and winds (pluckin, bowin', and blowin') from South India on mostly pre-war recordings. Artists include: Kamu Ammal, Shanmuga Vadivu (MSS's mother), Chowdiah, Narayan Iyengar, Mali, Natarajan on clarinet, and Ramaswamy. Catalog numbers given in the insert.

Edition of 40 cassettes in hand assembled matchbox-style covers, with tipped-on images and striking strip. You need this cool unique artifact with some rad sounds!
